Such is the power of this unknown scapular. . .” Our Lord added that all those who have it and think of it and love it, will be spared pains of the soul, that those who carry it will be sheltered from any danger, as though they already possessed heaven. “And finally, that this scapular will be like a lightning rod beneath which the blows of divine wrath will not strike.”

- Regarding Dr. Mark Miravalle’s video against the messages of Marie Julie Jahenny/the Purple Scapular: He seems to be saying that her messages say that there is a time frame when Jesus will stop forgiving people when they are still alive and that Our Lady will give up on some of her children before the last moment. The Bishop of Nantes fully supported Marie-Julie Jahenny, but this does not entail full Church endorsement, nor condemnation. She is in a middle category. The faithful are free to believe in private apparitions that have not been condemned, but they are not required to. She is clearly a holy mystic (I believe one of the greatest). The personal opinion of the Bishop of Nantes carries much more weight than the personal opinion of Dr. Mark Miravalle. The book of Revelation says the same thing about those who take the Mark of the Beast.
