Jubilee Year 2025 – Pilgrims of Hope

“Blessed are those who have not lost hope.” Sir 14:2

JUBILEE YEAR 2025 THEME: PILGRIMS OF HOPE

The 2025 Jubilee Year is a great time to expand Eucharistic and perpetual adoration.  Who can give us more hope than God, truly present in the most Holy Eucharist. He desires to shower us with His choicest graces of – true peace, love, goodness, happiness and ultimately, salvation!

The 2025 Jubilee officially opened on December 24, 2024 at 7 p.m., with the rite of Opening of the Holy Door of the Papal Basilica of St. Peter by the Holy Father. The official site of the Jubilee is: https://www.iubilaeum2025.va/en.html.

A jubilee is a special time when the Holy Door is opened to invite all to experience God’s love and the hope of salvation. The Jubilee is traditionally associated with pilgrimages to rediscover meaning in life, where one can experience forgiveness and spiritual renewal. The sacrament of Confession, an essential step in a journey of conversion, is emphasized as the starting point for finding hope. May this Jubilee be an opportunity to experience the forgiveness of God and extend forgiveness to others.

Let’s offer Holy Communions and Holy Hours for our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV!

Jubilee Prayer

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.
Amen.
