“One in the One” – Motto of His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV
Let’s offer Holy Communions, Holy Hours and Rosaries for our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV!
We joyfully welcomed and congratulated our new and beloved Holy Father Pope Leo XIV. Let us continue to pray that his ministry as the Chief Shepherd of the Church is filled with wisdom, adoration, courage and the hope of the Gospel.
- “I was happy to see how much time you dedicated to adoration, to daily Mass, to the Sacrament of Reconciliation. These are not simply program activities. They are real opportunities to meet Jesus” – Pope Leo XIV LIVE: A Call to Unity and Hope, presented by NCYC, November 21, 2025
- “To entrust our struggles to Jesus, we have to spend time with Him in prayer. We have to have a relationship with Him. In quiet, we can speak honestly with Him about what is in our hearts. During Eucharistic adoration you can look at Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. You know that He looks at you and He looks at you with love. He often speaks to us gently, in stillness. That is why daily moments of silence are so important, whether through adoration, reading scripture, talking to Him, looking for those little spaces of time where we can be with Him. Little by little, we learn to hear His voice to feel His presence both within and through the people that He sends to us. Giving our problems to Jesus is something we can do, we need to do, again and again. Each morning, we can invite Him to be with us during the day. Each night, we can talk with Him about our day. Remember also Mary, the Mother of Jesus and our Mother. She understands what we go through. She prays for us. There is a powerful way to ask for her help and that is praying the the Rosary. Through her intercession, and with all the saints praying for us, we can confidently place everything in God’s hands, knowing that He always hears us.” – Pope Leo XIV LIVE: A Call to Unity and Hope, presented by NCYC, November 21, 2025
- Both Pier Giorgio and Carlo cultivated their love for God and for their brothers and sisters through simple acts, available to everyone: daily Mass, prayer, and especially Eucharistic Adoration. Carlo used to say: “In front of the sun, you get a tan. In front of the Eucharist, you become a saint!” And again: “Sadness is looking at yourself; happiness is looking at God. Conversion is nothing more than shifting your gaze from below to above; a simple movement of the eyes is enough.”– Pope Leo XIV, September 7, 2025, Homily, Canonization of St. Carlo Acutis and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati
- “The Eucharist is not celebrated only at the altar, but also in daily life, where it is possible to experience everything as an offering and giving of thanks.” – Pope Leo XIV, August 6, 2025, Cycle of Catechesis – Jubilee 2025. Jesus Christ our Hope, General Audience
- “We are disciples of Christ, and Christ precedes. The world needs His light. Humanity needs Him as the bridge in order to be reached by God and by His love. Help us, all of you, one for another, to build bridges with dialogue, with encounter, uniting together to be one people, always in peace.” – Pope Leo XIV, May 8, 2025
- “It is likewise important to rediscover, especially in the Christian West, a sense of the primacy of God – the importance of mystagogy in the values so typical of Eastern spirituality: constant intercession, penance and fasting, and weeping for one’s one sins and for those of all humanity (penthos)!” – Pope Leo XIV, May 14, 2025, praising the Eastern Rite Divine Liturgy
- “Dear friends, Christ is God’s answer to our human hunger, because his Body is the bread of eternal life: Take this and eat of it, all of you! .. When we partake of Jesus, the living and true Bread, we live for him.” – Pope Leo XIV, Corpus Christi sermon
- “Strengthened by the Food that God gives us, let us bring Jesus to the hearts of all, because Jesus involves everyone in his work of salvation by calling each of us to sit at his table. Blessed are those who are called, for they become witnesses of this love!” – Pope Leo XIV, Corpus Christi sermon
- Pope Leo XIV during his Wednesday catechesis on the jubilee theme “Jesus Christ Our Hope” said the gift of the Eucharist prepared by God reveals that his great love “always precedes us.” – Pope Leo XIV: God’s Eucharistic love is not by ‘chance’ but a ‘conscious choice’ | Catholic News Agency
- The seemingly AI generated video contains many beautiful quotes which it says are Pope Leo XIV, emphasizing the centrality of the Eucharist in Catholic life and calling for a renewed focus on adoration, reverence, and frequent Communion. However, St. Pope John Paul II deeply desired that perpetual adoration be established in all parishes and Christian communities. Also, the video had some weird AI generated images that don’t look like a Monstrance. We could not find sources for the quotes it states are Pope Leo XIV. Clarifications and confirmations of Church teachings for those concerned or confused by comments reported to have been made by Pope Leo:
- The Catholic Church’s doctrine on sexual morality is unchangeable, because it is rooted in divine revelation, sacred tradition, and natural law, and has already been interpreted authoritatively. The Church is not a democracy.
Eucharistic Quotes of former Pope Leo XIII (1878-1903)
Pope Leo XIII had the privilege of opening the first International Eucharistic Congress in 1881. He praised and encouraged the laymen for their part in helping to bring about the Congress and its resultant “nocturnal” adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Here are some of his quotes on the importance of Eucharistic Adoration in our lives:
May 28, 1902 – Pope Leo XIII Encyclical “Mirae Caritatis” (On The Holy Eucharist) (Source: Vatican website – www.vatican.va):
- 1. “It gives Us much pleasure to recall to mind that We have officially approved, and enriched with canonical privileges, not a few institutions and confraternities having for their object the perpetual adoration of the Sacred Host…”
- 14. “This Sacrament (the Eucharist)….as the object of public adoration….is to be regarded as the centre towards which the spiritual life of a Christian in all its ambit gravitates; for all other forms of devotion, whatsoever they may be, lead up to it, and in it find their point of rest.”
- 19. “…Works of this kind (Eucharistic Adoration) which have been already set on foot must be ever more zealously promoted;”
- 19. “…old undertakings must be revived wherever perchance they may have fallen into decay; for instance, Confraternities of the holy Eucharist, intercessory prayers before the blessed Sacrament exposed for the veneration of the faithful, solemn processions, devout visits to God’s tabernacle,..”
Other Pope Leo XIII Eucharistic Adoration Quotes
- “The devotion which God sends to the succor of His Church and of the nations at the present time is the devotion to the Most Holy Eucharist. It is the highest of all devotions.”
- “Our own belief is that the renovation of the world will be brought about only by the Holy Eucharist.”
