Eucharistic Miracles of Florence, Italy – 1230, 1595

On December 30, 1230 at the Church of St. Ambrose in Florence, Italy, Consecrated wine left in a chalice turned into blood. The blood was observed to be living and coagulated, and was witnessed by the bishop, clergy, and townspeople. This miracle, and a subsequent one in 1595, where a Host survived a fire, serve as powerful reminders of the miraculous presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
